TELL SEVENTH GENERATION: ITS BRAND IS A HORROR SHOW

Seventh Generation has built its reputation on being a responsible brand. But its parent company is still abusing millions of animals.

Seventh Generation’s branding proudly boasts "cruelty-free,” appealing to shoppers who want to make compassionate choices. But behind this friendly image lurks a brandwashing horror show.

Seventh Generation is owned by Unilever—a corporate giant that just turned its back on millions of animals.

In 2018, Unilever pledged to eliminate cruel cages for egg-laying hens across its entire global supply chain. Now, they’ve quietly abandoned that commitment.

For a hen trapped in one of these cages, life is a cycle of relentless misery. Crammed into a wire space so small she can’t even spread her wings, she is denied every natural instinct. She can't walk freely, forage, or nest. As the birds around her suffer from exhaustion, severe feather loss, and painfully fractured bones, many become trapped beneath their cagemates, unable to even reach food or water.

Seventh Generation claims that it strives to be a “force for good” for “the next seven generations.” There’s nothing good about passing on the most extreme forms of animal cruelty to future generations.

Seventh Generation relies entirely on its ethical reputation to survive. If compassionate consumers like you expose this glaring hypocrisy, they won't be able to look the other way. Seventh Generation has a direct line to Unilever’s executives, and it’s time we force them to use it.

Send a message to Seventh Generation right now and tell them to demand Unilever reinstate its global cage-free commitment.
